Internet marketing tips and tools
Online marketing has opened a whole new world of possibilities for those who want to promote their products and services more efficiently. Internet not only allows companies to lower marketing costs, it also helps distributing information to an incredibly wide range of potential clients. Now let’s discuss those online marketing strategies and tools that have proven to be effective over the course of time.

Websites
The main difference between websites and other marketing media is that websites are available 24/7, which allows potential clients to find you when your services are needed the most. Unlike ads on TV, radio or periodic press the content you put on your website will stay there for as long as you need. Business owners can always get feedback from their customers thanks to live chats, contact forms, comments and so on, which allows evaluating qualities of your services without having to hire focus groups and conducting surveys.

Forums and blogs
These internet tools are much cheaper than professional website, but they also give business owners an opportunity to be in touch with customers and create more online awareness of their services and products. Blogs and forums serve as a great platform for discussions between current and potential customers and business owners or marketers, which enables getting helpful feedback.

Social media sites
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, LiveJournal – these social media networks have taken over the internet and provided business owners with another one incredibly effective business tool. Due to the specific of these sites, ads on social networks can be targeted on specific age or gender group, which boost marketing efforts immensely. Social media websites, especially Twitter, can also help to create awareness of your company’s special offers, discounts and promotions.

Pay per lick (PPC) advertising
This is another example of highly effective internet marketing tool, when advertiser pays when users click on their ad. PPC model is extremely popular since here it’s the result that count, meaning you pay only for the number of visitors and not for the number of times your ad has been shown. This model not only brings instant results but also allows showing your ads only in certain locations or on the sites that post related content. It also enables you taking full control over the costs of the campaign since you usually can set upper limits on your total daily spend, which means you spend as much as you can and not more.

Emails
Even with all the new strategies and tools email marketing is still widely used, especially among small business owners who want to enhance or maintain customer relationship and advertise products.

The key to successful online marketing is using these tools in combination. If you choose not to hire professional marketer who would manage your marketing efforts, you are going to need special software for keeping all the aspects of the campaign under control. Work management software can help you create flexible workflows that you can change according to the situation on the market. It will also help you to keep in check any number of promoting campaigns and their status and see which employee is responsible for the task. And built-in task software will help to track costs, deadlines and tasks’ priorities enabling you and your team working more efficiently.

Increase visitors to a travel blog by adding high quality content.
These days, more than ever, travel bloggers are becoming aware that by implementing SEO to their travel blogs they can increase traffic and generate a larger readership to their blogs. There are a wide range of SEO strategies and tactics that are being used by travel bloggers. However, even with the most effective SEO strategy, a travel blog will not have a considerable online presence and gain publicity without a continuous flow of high quality content.

What defines high quality travel content?
As we all know, high quality content has the necessary characteristics which readers will look forward to. Thus, content should be informative but not too technical, interesting, and relevant.

As for travel blogs, high quality content could mean travel experiences that are laid out in the most interesting ways, travel tips that address a prevailing and common travel problem, amazing travel destination suggestions other than those that anyone would normally find in other travel blogs, or reasonably priced travel service offers.

How can a travel blog stand out with high quality content?
The notion that a travel blog will stand out with high quality content is not difficult to comprehend. But in what ways can a travel blog really achieve this?

A descriptive and unique title will make readers visit the blog to get hold of the whole article
SEO may make a content or travel blog be easily found in search engines. But without an enticing and unique title, a reader will simply continue scrolling down the search results page to look for more titles that seems to manifest a more helpful article.

High quality travel content will make a visitor read through the whole article
An enticing title can do a great job in making a reader check out the article. But if the content doesn’t seem to have interesting and helpful information or is difficult to read with long sentences and paragraphs, the reader will simply go back to the previous search results and find another better travel content. Travel readers, especially those who don’t have the luxury of time, are always searching for quick but helpful information. Thus, they want content that are direct to the point and has an easy to read format. Travel bloggers believe that content does not have to be encompassing. It has to focus on a particular aspect which is deemed to be more helpful, rather than general information which are common in travel blogs.

High quality travel content will make readers go through other content within the blog
It is common among readers who are impressed with an article to check out other posts within the travel blog. After reading a well-written content, they are expecting other posts to be as helpful and interesting as well. Travel bloggers should take advantage of the readers’ expectations as a result of the high quality content which the reader checked out in the first place. They should ensure that they maintain a continuous flow of travel related content. In may be difficult to sustain this with the travel blogger’s own efforts but with the help of other sources such as freelance writers, guest bloggers, or travel writing services, this is certainly, not far from being possible.

High quality travel content will be shared by readers even without the travel blog owners’ solicitation
Thanks to the prevalence of social media these days, sharing a link to as many networks of people as possible can be done easily and quickly. As soon as the reader finishes reading the article, he can simply click on the social media buttons somewhere within the page (usually at the bottom) to share the content or blog to his different networks in social media.

Final Words

The competition in the travel blogosphere is getting fiercer. These days, it takes more than just an extensive travel experience, knowledge, and passion for writing to make a travel blog successful. One has to ensure the quality of the content in order to achieve the benefits listed above, and to give the travel blog an edge in the travel blogosphere.

SEO strategies to increase your page rank
We are all trying to seo our websites, we talk about them non stop on social media and post about them in unlimited numbers of directories, forums and blog comments. But is this just a waste of our time and money?

Google states on their own website you will rank well if you help customers get the answers they need, the product or service they want and give the full customer service experience. So in order to rank my keywords well I like to follow my 5 main ranking steps for keywords.

 1. Keyword in the meta tag on the page I am trying to rank

 2. Keyword used amongst other content on the ranking page

 3. Keyword written in URL for the page to make it relevant

 4. Keyword hyper linked to the page from other website pages

 5. Use the keywords in social media when linking to the pages

Now that is about keyword ranking but on to ranking the overall website, trying to achieve page rank and getting your website popular with google. Once you have a Page-rank score (a ranking from 1-10) this tells you how important your website is in the terms of google. It is very rare that websites get a score of 8-10, only sites like wikipedia get the really high scores so something like a PR2-PR5 and you are doing quite well. Google will also keep visiting your site more and more if you keep updating and keeping it important.

The way to get ranked is so simple, I think people just like to over complicate it. Ask your self what you want your website to sell, put those products on and then see what else you can offer the customer. Can you offer them some information on how to use the product? Could you give them a guide to help them or maybe there is another way you can help your customers out by adding something to your website. Remember it is all about adding content that is useful and relevant to the customer. So If you sell cake decorations then you may write tutorials about how to create cake decorations or tools needed for specialist cakes.

Social Media is another area where if you only have a few likes it really isn't worth spending hours per day promoting, however if you pay to have sponsored posts and adverts on facebook about your business and grow your facebook followers then you will be able to get customers interacting and asking questions.

Popular ways to monetize a blog
Who doesn't like passive income? Here's how your blog, however big or small, can help you take a step in the right direction. There are plenty of ways to make money online from taking surveys to working as a freelancer to selling stock photography. However, I am talking about how you can earn money from your blog, which you already love to write for.

Here Are 5 Of The Most Popular Blog Monetization Methods:

1. Banner Advertising
This seems easy to do but can actually be pretty hard to accomplish because you need to get the right kinds of advertisers who are interested in your blog and reaching out to your audience. If you are a big blog, however, you can reach out to companies like BuySellAds to help you get banners to your blog. The most money is usually made when an advertiser specifically wants to reach out to your audience and sees value in doing so. You can start by contacting small businesses in your niche and asking them if they would be interested to advertise for a fixed cost on your blog.

2. Google Adsense
This is a broader class of advertising in the category of pay-per-click, but this is by far the most popular form of pay per click advertising. You get paid not by the impressions of the ad but depending on how many people click on it. Therefore, there is no guarantee of a certain income here, unlike in banner advertising where you know you are getting a fixed amount of money irrespective of how many people actually click on it. Of course the upside is that you get a good amount of money for every person who clicks on the ad, and there is a very good potential to earn a lot of money. A lot of sites rely on Google Adsense for monetizing their websites. One of the biggest advantage of this is its ease of set up. You just enter a code and forget about it - Google takes care of everything else, including contacting the advertisers.

3. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing can be a highly lucrative way to make money from your blog. A lot of companies have an affiliate program. You just recommend products to your readers and when someone clicks on your link and buys the product, you get a certain percentage of the sale as commission. You get paid only when a sale is completed, irrespective of how many impressions an ad makes or how many people click through to it. The upside is, you can potentially make a ton of money. Big name bloggers regularly earn 6 figure incomes from this method, so it is a large pie that small bloggers have a chance of being a part of.

4. Social Media Campaigns
Brands and businesses want social media engagement. If you have a good and loyal social media following, you should leverage it. Sponsored Tweets, for example, are a really good way to make a few bucks advertising to your followers along with all the regular content that you post. Same is the case with Facebook. If you have a good number of engaged fans, businesses will pay you a nice amount of money to reach them.

5. Email Marketing
Email marketing is a very powerful tool that bloggers enjoy. You need to collect leads from your blog so you have their permission to reach out to them whenever relevant. In your regular newsletter, you can sell an ad space for a company. The beauty of email marketing is that you can combine affiliate marketing with this - if you come across a great product that you use, why not promote it to your list and make some money off it too?

These are some of the common ways to earn an income from your blog. What methods appeal to you, and what methods do you use? We would like to hear your thoughts.

Top 5 social media traffic tools
Social media per se is a huge part of the traffic sources pie. That's why internet marketers and enthusiasts use different social media tools to leverage on social media sites and market their brand or products. In this article, we will take a look at the top 5 tools that guarantee more traffic.

1. Tweet adder - While working on other tasks, do you have the time to actually analyze and determine who to follow and who to unfollow when you have like hundreds or thousands of people in your Twitter account? If not, you can give TweetAdder a try. It is an automated software that can help you search for like-minded followers in seconds and follow them. In this way, you are getting closer to a more relevant niche for higher social proof. TweetAdder can also automate your tweets and schedule the time to publish them, saving you valuable time. It also handles automatic send-out of direct messages to new followers and also disposes of direct messages when they are of no significance to you. Using parameters you set up, you can count and unfollow those who are not following you back. Therefore, you keep your list clean and avoid making one-way dialogues to those who are really into your tweets.

2. Social Oomph - Another recommended tool to take care of your account is Social Oomph. This does not only work well for Twitter like the former, but also in Facebook and Buzz. This tool can help you schedule posting of updates by date and time. You can even have a whole year all planned out to set birthday greetings to all your friends and mention them in Twitter in just one seating. By setting notifications ahead of time, you never have to worry about forgetting them. Also, you will then diminish chances of losing followers who feel sad because you did not remember to greet them on their special day. By using the free version of Social Oomph, you can send one same direct message to all followers in Twitter and Buzz with a single bang. If you take the pro version, you have access to more features. One of the best is that you can post a Facebook message to walls of many friends. Plus, social Oomph lets you add in any RSS feed (blog, podcast, and just about anything) and it publishes the latest posts you have to Twitter and Facebook. You can also allow your email inbox to receive notifications when your accounts are tagged as favorite and re-tweeted.

3. Hootsuite - Hootsuite functions almost the same as Social Oomph. The difference is that this tool is for free and you can post automatic updates to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Hootsuite is mostly categorized though as being a multi-function Twitter application. It can schedule posts, manage list of followers in Twitter, tweet to Facebook and LinkedIn and distribute your blog post to these three social networks to increase website traffic. In addition, HootSuite shrinks the links you post in your tweets and lets you earn some extra cash from Google Adsense by incorporating advertisements in Twitter.

4. Tweetdeck - If you’re an affiliate marketer, online entrepreneur or someone who experiences a lot of noise (tweets, direct messages and long list of streams you don’t really read), you can utilize Tweetdeck to organize your Twitter account. You can even put in multiple accounts and control your data in one screen. In this way, you keep track of all the good stuff and not miss anything current. By having a good overview on what’s happening in every account, it’s easier to pull out the mess and retain only those you desire. Hence, you will feel bombarded with all the Twitter junk and create specific lists made up of people who usually post related contributions of your interest. Then you can interact and target a niche consisting of those who matter.

When you have a car, you buy car accessories to make your vehicle look and feel good. When you have a mobile phone, you also load it up with mobile apps and phone accessories that offer protection and convenience to your every day use. Similarly, when you have social media accounts, you can use several tools that claim to help you in everything you need. Among them all, you just have to cherry pick which applications have the best functions that can best manage your social media activities, drive traffic to your blog and widen your footprint on the social web.

How to design your blog to attract international readers
Blogging is a great platform to express your ideas and opinions on any topic you want to write about. However, there are hundreds of thousands of blogs and that means there’s going to be a lot of competition in attracting readers. One way of attracting more readers is tailoring your blog so that it appeals to an international audience.

Here Are Six Tips That Will Set You On The Road To Achieving This:

1. Make your language accessible
Across the English speaking world, every country has different colloquialisms and dialects that are possibly unfamiliar to people out with those areas. You should look to make your posts readable to people that are not from your local town or city. For example, if you are a food blogger from Glasgow in Scotland, you should avoid using words like ‘goosegog’ instead of ‘gooseberry’ or ‘braw’ instead ‘beautiful’, in the context of food.

Sometimes you might not realize that you are using words that other people will not understand, but whenever you do, replace them for a more universal word. This is not to say you need to completely internationalize your writing, as some of the appeal of your blog might be its perspective from your country. The language you use, however, should be tailored to a wider audience.

2. Consider translating into other languages
You might want to consider translating your content into a foreign language. You will be able to attract international readers that have a preference to reading in their native language and those that cannot read in English. Although machine translation tools, such as Google Translate, are an easy and free option, they are prone to errors. At best, the results tend to be over-literal, at worst they can be nonsensical or even offensive.

The best option is to choose a professional native-speaking translator. Ideally, they will be based in the target country, so that they are up-to-date with any changes in dialect.

3. Content
Your content might have to undergo some changes. You do not need to alter your content completely so that everything is aimed at an international audience, but you should write on topics that have a wider appeal. For example, a health and fitness blogger could tailor their content so it focuses on a current international event with worldwide appeal. Events like the Olympics and The World Cup are not-to-be-missed opportunities for attracting readers across the globe.

It is important that your content is the best it can be. Far too many bloggers rush out posts that are not ready. You will not get international readers coming back to your blog or recommending it to anyone if they find poorly written posts with spelling or grammatical errors.

4. Keywords
Keywords are one of the most important elements of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It’s worthwhile tweaking your keywords so that your blog will be discovered by international readers. A bit of research will let you know what keywords will be optimal for any particular region or specific country. You will, however, need to be careful when translating these keywords so that they keep their meaning.

5. Use social media networks
Promotion is an important element that can boost your blog’s readership across the globe. A great way of doing that today is by using social media networks. By all means use the big two - Facebook and Twitter, but don’t forget about popular platforms in countries you would like to attract readers in. For readers in Russia, you could use VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. QZone is the way to go in China, while Zing is one of the main platforms in Vietnam. Drauglem is popular in Latvia and for readers in Holland, you could use Hyves. Consider other platforms that are for specific purposes, such as Sound Cloud for music.

6. Be internationally active
Aside from social media networks, you should also comment on popular blogs across the world and be active within blogging communities. Interact with bloggers who are popular in certain foreign countries, which could potentially result in them linking your blog in theirs. Don’t hold back in commenting on blogs all over the world and get people aware of your blog. If you have written appealing, well-written posts that are accessible to an international audience, and perhaps have also been properly translated, then you will stand a good chance of attracting an international audience to your blog.

5 SEO mistakes you should avoid
If you have never tried creating a post and publishing it, then you are probably thinking that it`s as simple as writing your thoughts on a document template, placing a few images or videos, uploading it on your blog, and "presto" a stream of readers and comments will come.

However, it is not as easy as you may be thinking. While the activity does involve such steps, you lack an important element - search engine optimization (SEO).

You are probably thinking Isn’t it just blogging?
First off, it isn’t “just blogging”, it is one of the biggest social media channels. In fact, many businesses are using it as a promotional tool. What is more, there are approximately 31 million bloggers, and this figure is in the U.S. alone. You can just imagine how many there are for the global population, right?

Second, SEO is essential to all websites, no matter what their niches or purposes are; given the fact that optimization helps put these sites out there.

With that said, never forget how important it is to optimize your blog. Furthermore, how to avoid the following SEO mistakes.

Link schemes
If you are going to generate backlinks, make sure you don’t manipulate your methods just to get a high PageRank.

How Can You Have Influence Over Your Site’s Link Building Process? It Is When You Carry Out The Following:

Obtain paid links

Link to websites that are taking on Web spam

Excessive link exchange (you link to particular domains and they link back to you)

Build too many links within a short period

Remember that you can increase the likelihood of ranking in SERPs if you have relevant, credible, and a diverse link profile.

Poor quality content
Google says in its Webmaster Guidelines, “Make pages primarily for users, not for search engines”. This means that if you are going to create a blog post, it has to be useful and engaging for the readers.

Why?
One, valuable and helpful information earns the users’ trust and loyalty. Second, your interesting and interactive content makes them want to check out your site repeatedly.

When do you know if your write-up has low quality?
A poorly created article doesn’t have a natural flow of ideas and doesn’t make sense. Furthermore, it isn’t relevant to your niche. Plus, it lacks substance.

To ensure that your audience likes your work, always ask yourself “Is it informative and engaging enough for my readers?”

Keyword stuffing
In general, it involves cramming a webpage with targeted phrases in the hopes of getting the top spot in SERPs for related queries.

Take note that SEO is not just about keyword use. If you want the spiders to crawl your blog, you have to apply other strategies. Moreover, you have to concentrate on providing the people with unique, fresh, and fun write-ups.

Cloaking and doorway Pages
The former refers to the idea of showing different pages to search engines and the users. On the other hand, the latter involves optimizing low-quality web pages for particular keywords and then directing all of these to one page destination.

Clearly, these are manipulative ways to have the bots index your site.

Excessive optimization
Yes, you can get to the point of going overboard with your SEO strategies.

When does this happen?
It is when you apply every method you know to each blog post such that the spiders already know your optimization trends.

Whenever you optimize, always keep “natural” methods in mind. This way, your pages won’t come out forced.

These SEO mistakes are basic. You can obtain deeper insights about the topic by checking out Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. This way, you will know googles rules and exactly how to make your posts rank high in SERPs.

Should your business start a blogBlogging is a great resource for a businesses of any size. Having a blog allows your business to communicate with customers in a very unique way. You can use your blog to dispel negative press, to provide upcoming news and current events, as well as to introduce your customers to new products, services, partnerships, and new information and news in your industry.

By having a blog, customers can view your business from your company's point of view, and, if utilized correctly, your blog can serve to show your customers the more personal, human side of your company. This can help build trust in your business and brand, and can get your customers to evolve from customers for now to customers for life.

However, if you are thinking of starting a blog for your business, beware. It is not the end-all, be-all for a marketing campaign, and if you don't do it right, it could actually end up hurting rather than helping your business. Blogs that are visually unappealing, lacking in content, or are not updated on a schedule will not attract and audience.

Your blog's look and feel should be streamlined with your company's website. Look at your blog as an extension of the site that your customers already love. A similar color palate, layout, and logo will help your customers feel at home and as if they are in a familiar environment. Blogs that are not streamlined with your website will cause your readers to feel as if they have entered into a completely different area, they may even think that they have reached the wrong site by mistake. By allowing your blog to have a similar look as your website, you will help your customers feel more comfortable.

Content is of the utmost importance in any marketing campaign. If your blog has awful content, or articles that are too long or too short, readers will be unimpressed and will most likely not visit your blog too often, if ever at all. Articles should always have a purpose, they should not be spewing out information willy-nilly, they should not be about a random topic that your readers have no interest in, and they most definitely should not be poorly written, with spelling or grammatical errors. Your content should also be well organized. Headings, subheadings, and bulleted lists allow readers to take in information quickly, while still understanding it. Readers will appreciate this and over time will come to know your blog as providing a wealth of information in a fast, easy to read format.

Finally, your blog should have a strict schedule for posting. While it is not necessarily essential to post an article every day, going more than two days without posting anything will lose readers. People like blogs that they can depend on, where they are sure to find new and interesting information on a regular basis. Irregular posting will not create a loyal following, while regular posting will always have your readers coming back for more. It also helps to have different themed posts on different days. This will give your readers something to look forward to, and they will always know that new content is on its way.

If you are toying with the idea of creating a blog for your website or business, remember these points. Blogging can be an extremely helpful part of your overall marketing campaign, and can help engage customers who will then share your blog with their connections.

How to make a blog post go viral
If you want to learn how to write a viral post on your blog, then this guide will show you how. Specifically, you're going to learn three powerful tips - which when combined - will give you an excellent chance of creating an attention-grabbing post.

It may take some time and effort to implement these techniques, but when you get it right, you can expect to see a massive spike of web traffic and thousands of new blog readers. What's more, you can even make a name for yourself in your niche - and quickly set yourself apart from the competition.

With This in Mind, Here Are 3 Great Tips:

Find A Trending Topic
A trending topic is something which everyone is talking about - so you can be sure there's a genuine interest within your niche. If you keep your ear close to the ground, you may notice these trends coming - but you can easily put in some hard work to discover them, too. For example, you can check websites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, and Pinterest to see what's currently hot. Additionally, you can search for other popular blogs in your niche, andsee what they've been talking about lately.

Offer Incredible Value
If you have an astonishingly comprehensive blog post which solves a problem, probes deeper on an issue than anyone else, or offers a complete guide on how to do something - then you've got a great chance of having the post go viral. These types of posts can also gather many comments - so you can even build a community feeling within your comments section where you answer additional questions.

Write An Attention-Grabbing Headline
The first thing your reader will see when they see your blog post is the title. Because of this, a good title can make or break a viral post. So what can you do to make sure your title is worthy of going viral? Try to find an intriguing angle on the topic - perhaps something shocking or unusual. Something which seems ironic, or causes a peculiar juxtaposition of ideas can also arouse the attention of your readers as well.

Writing a viral blog post can be a hit-or-miss endeavor, but with persistence and plenty of trial and error, you'll have a good chance of making a powerful impression with your blog - and standing out from the masses with your viral, attention-grabbing content.

How to get the most out of your tweets
Twitter has emerged as one of the most powerful tool in the online marketing world. Indeed, so many businesses have been built by just a simple tweet. That is why you need to be very sensible and wise enough to watch what you post! Remember there’s something behind why you’re only allowed to post 140 characters or so.

Every word counts, so it pays to make the most of every character you’re typing. It could be interesting enough to merit dozens of retweets or banal enough to the point of neglect. Now, how do you make every tweet count? Here’s a list of the things that you need to bear in mind:

Originality Counts

Always come up with original ideas. This makes your tweet far more unique from anyone else’s, giving it more chances of getting your follower’s attention. Be who you are when tweeting. Tweet like you’re talking to someone and don’t act as if a robot is in charge of your account. Take time to respond to someone’s queries. Be friendly enough to retweet your follower’s interesting posts.

Go Straight to the Point
Tweets are limited to only 140 characters, so make sure every word works forward to sharing useful information without leaving your audience on a cliffhanger. So if you have 140 characters to fill, try posting something that’s only 120 characters long so you’ll have enough room for others to retweet or add their opinions on.

Getting your readers straight to the point means your tweets have to catch attention while making them easy to understand. Don’t forget to sprinkle facts, figures and stats while making them unique as well. This is what will grab everyone’s attention and lure them into your website or article.

Schedule Your Tweets
It’s not necessary to update your tweets every hour or so. Know the day and time when your followers are most active so you know when to be tweeting. This does not only save time and effort but also maximizes your efforts while enjoying a higher level of interaction with your followers.

Put Links

The pros and cons of using video marketing
Every single business on the planet has a unique story to tell, and what better way to relay that story and show potential clients a true example of your personality than with a video. Video can easily be promoted as an extremely effective way for businesses to communicate and interact with web visitors—especially when it comes to showing them who you are (portraying brand image) and what you do (communicating products and services). However, where there are positives—there are always negatives.

Let’s Explore The Pros And Cons Of Using Video To Promote Your Business Online:

The Pros of video Marketing:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

1. Now that Google includes video as a determining factor in search engine rankings (due to the Universal Update) using video to market your business can help you gain visibility for your brand via viral shares.

2. Video is also a faster marketing medium when compared to reading a blog post or a web page. It’s true; video is a more eye-catching medium for consumers. When you compare it to text, viewers digest the information faster in a video thanks to visual cues and dynamic images as long as the content is relevant (i.e., an instructional or marketing campaign to promote a brand).

3. If you belong to any social networks (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) you’ve probably realized how often folks post videos. Why? Because social media platforms are very video-friendly. This is great news for businesses who wish to communicate with their clients. Posting interviews with experts, consumer reviews of new products or services, and instructional videos help the consumer interact with and understand your company.

4. When you consider how fast you can shoot a video and upload it to YouTube, video is a pretty cost-effective marketing medium. Plus, video sharing has the potential to make a video viral (if your video is unique, entertaining, or funny). The cost is definitely worth the time and cost effort.

5. Video as a business marketing strategy can help you reach audiences that would otherwise ignore with text.

The Cons of video Marketing:

1. Technical issues for the less technically-inclined might pose a problem if you choose a video format that conflicts with your online/website platform.

2. Video editing also demands some basic skills as well as a time commitment from the publisher.

3. Even if you publish your video on several platforms at once, it can still fail to go viral of even generate any views if you don’t use the relevant Meta tags with the correct keywords.

4. If you use a simple webcam to record your videos you could end up with poor video and sound quality. Therefore, businesses who want to portray a polished, professional image may need to invest in some professional video equipment (i.e., camera, lighting, sound equipment) to achieve the look they desire. Let’s face it; if your viewers can't hear you clearly, why bother to make a video at all, right?

Using video as a marketing tool has it`s pros and cons and the choice is really up to the marketer to choose. Hopefully this article will aid you in making that decision.

Since pictorial components are more easily remembered, it will have a greater impact on your audience. As a result, more users will be visiting your site for rich and quality articles.

Improved Readership
Concepts and ideas are explained in a much better way with. This point can be with an example. Consider, you have a site on pet care. You post an article about grooming a Labrador. How can you attract more attention? It can be done by including a video or a series of pictures explaining the grooming process.

Try out this technique, and you will be surprised to see the results! Readership will increase in leaps and bounds and people will be able to visualize the ideas you are trying to convey.

Technical Details Easily Explained
Drab and difficult to comprehend technical subjects can be explained better with the help of photos or videos. Instead of making the matter dry, it will rouse reader's interest. Website design tips can be simply explained if the instructions are supported with images.

In today`s age more and more bloggers are incorporating video and photos to their blogs and websites, just look how popular YouTube has become and should I mention infographics.
