Tips on Building Trust with your Blog Readers
You're posting new blog posts every day. You teach your readers everything you know, and you tediously put only trusted ads on your page. You even paid some people to leave positive reviews about you and your website content. So why do you still have low traffic.?

Remember that being a successful blogger is all about positioning yourself to be an expert in a specific niche - and humbly teaching everyone else in a fun, humane way. It's not enough to be knowledgeable alone, or to be fun alone, or to be personal alone. Trust is built with all these components in mind.

Here Are Five Sure-Fire Ways To Build Trust With Your Readers In An Efficient Manner That Produces Long-Lasting Results:

1. Do not claim to be an all-knowing guru
This is the exact opposite of the usual "Be an expert in your niche" advice, but you can be an expert without sounding the trumpets and bragging about it. Surprisingly, readers are drawn to those bloggers who mention in their About Me page that they are not a guru. What you can say instead is something like this: "I am not an all-knowing guru and I don't know everything. But just like you, I am also a _______ and I'd like to share with you some tips and tricks I learned along my journey in order to help you out." This message is definitely more heart-warming than, say, this: "I have an extensive background in _______ and I have trained with the most notable experts in ______ and _______, so you really don't have to worry about whether or not I'm good." Ugh, that's a huge turn-off right there.

2. Be a human being
Show your readers they are not talking to just some random article robot - actually include personal details about yourself in your posts every now and then. You stepped on your baby's poo this morning? Tell your readers about it. You're going on a vacation with your family? Post some vacation pictures on your next blog post. Being open to your readers lets them know that you are just like them - an ordinary person who just happens to be passionate about and successful in a niche. This inspires them to be like you, because if you can do it and you're just like them, then they can do it, too.

3. Be fun
Fun is different from funny. Not all bloggers are funny, which is just fine. Being fun means addressing your readers with hard facts in a light-hearted manner. They are not reading Wikipedia - they are reading a fun human being's words. Besides, nobody likes to read a blogger who is monotonous and overly technical in his posts. When your blog posts are fun to read, your readers will come back for more, again and again, because people naturally love to "hang out" with fun personalities.

4. Gather some really in-depth report - and give it away for free
Most readers are smart enough to know if a training material or a guide is sloppy or high-quality. If you put together a really unique and information-packed report and you give it for free, your readers will be seriously impressed with your sincerity to help them. They can tell if a writer worked hard on a material or not, and if they see that your free giveaway is something you shed blood and sweat for, your credibility ranking shoot through the roof. They'll think, you could have sold it but you didn't - and that makes you a winner right there.

5. Reply to your readers' comments
Don't be snobbish - take time to actually respond to what your readers have to say. This will make them feel valued and important, plus they'll know that you really read their comments. Ignoring comments will make them think you're apathetic, so spend an hour of your time replying to each of them no matter how busy you are. If you can't possibly do this for some reason, use a blog post to somehow mention these people. For instance, you may say "Some of you have been asking/telling me about _______. Mentioning this will instantly inform everyone that yes, you do read their comments and take note of their messages, questions, and clarifications.

These steps on how to build trust with your readers are easy to follow and worthy of your immediate action if you want to see results right away. Remember, without your readers' trust, you're just some random guy babbling stuff on his own without anyone listening or caring.
