Do Your research
To start off with, it’s a good idea to use Google as your first research point. You can then either start searching for blogs that interest you and contact their webmaster to see if they are interested in having you guest post and ask them for any content gaps that they need filling so you can fill them. Or you can find sites that are relevant to your niche and offer them your original expert content.
Alternatively, you don’t have to start out so specific and can just do a broad Google searches instead, for instance, search for ‘guest blogging’, ‘blogging forums’ or ‘niche blogging’. You’ll find that plenty of others are also out there looking for guest bloggers or looking to develop reciprocal posting relationships.

It is normally recommended that bloggers should have a community of at least 10 other bloggers that they know well, as this means you have more of a chance of getting published on a wider spectrum of blogs.
It can be extremely hard at times to get accepted as a guest blogger, so if you have a wide online network and you believe that you can utilize your blogging community contacts to get a foot in the door...why not do it?
It’s also a very good idea to put together a list containing the top 20 blogs that you would like to write for. Make sure you have written some sample content that you can send to them if it’s required and then start getting in touch.
The blogs that want guest bloggers are obvious, as they generally have an option stating something along the lines of, ‘Write for us’, ‘Become a guest blogger’ or ‘Submit A Guest Post’.
Making sure every time you guest post for someone that you are putting your best content forward, this will increase your chances of them inviting you back.
